This Schleich sea monkey lives in the vast rain and mangrove forests of Borneo in Asia. Here, the monkeys live in herds, hunting together for the fruits and leaves that are their primary source of livelihood. The most striking feature of the proboscis monkey is the males' long beaks, which can grow up to ten centimetres long and which they use to impress the females.

The monkeys spend most of their time on land, but primate monkeys are particularly good at swimming and diving.
