The BL1021B Li-ion battery can be used in both Makita 10.8V or 12V Max Li-ion CXT cordless tool range. The BL1021B is equipped with a 4 stage LED battery fuel gauge, battery protection circuit and low temperature performance. Anytime charge, no memory effect and no discharging required. The battery is lightweight and shock absorbing.

The Li-ion range delivers up to 430 per cent more working capacity during its lifetime compared to Ni-Cad and is 40 per cent lighter than Ni-MH. The Li-ion range has minimal depletion of power during use or in storage over its lifetime.
