Knipex Smart Grip adjusts automatically to the size of the component The Knipex 8501250SB (carded) Smart Grip is 250mm in length with a 36mm capacity for nuts and 1. 1/4 inch on pipes. Place the Smart Grip on the component and press the pliers together. That´s all. With one press of the hand they adjusts automatically to the size of the component and hold it firmly without slipping.
This is particularly useful when you need to change grip quickly for different sizes of component because there is no need for multiple hand movements. When the seconds saved are added together in the long run they add up to a considerable amount of working time: for left-handed and right-handed users.
Thanks to the double guide of the pliers handle the box joint design gives the pliers high torsional strength and stability. Because the pliers lock onto the component by themselves all manual force can flow into the desired holding or rotating movement.
