Royal Canin Maxi Ageing 8+ is a suitable feed for large breed dogs that are moving into their senior years & may need some nutritional help. To help maintain the mass of lean muscle on these larger dogs a high proportion of protein is needed in the diet, L-carnitine helps by mobilising fat allowing dogs to use it as an energy source.

Bone & joint support is quite often needed especially if they have lived a working life, natural sources of glucosamine & chondroitin have been included to encourage the natural production of these joint building compounds.
