Makita's GA9050 models were developed to be easy to control while delivering all the power of a 2000W motor. They are fitted with the newly developed, compact and lightweight Type S-82 motors, with down-sized gear housings and main handles. Especially in terms of compact size, the products are unrivalled; the overall length of 432 mm (17'') was the shortest among the 2000W class when introduced.
